Sunday, September 13, 2009: Stepping
Up Walkathon:
We are extremely grateful to all who supported
the 2008 Walkathon. About 300 walkers and over 30 sponsors
helped raise $55,000 for the walk that occurred on October
5, 2008 at the Striar Jewish Community Center (now the Striar
YMCA) in Stoughton and was presented by the Rotary Community
Corps of the Adult Day Health Program, Inc. (RCCADHP). This
was an extraordinary expression of support from the community
during challenging economic times. Not only did we increase
our walker participation by 25% but increased our net revenue
by more than $19,000 from the prior year. Warmest thanks
and appreciation to our major sponsors, IrinoxUSA, Sinai
Men's Associates and Conroy Development, as well as the
numerous employees and community members who helped make
this the biggest and most successful walk ever!
Please save the date and join others
in the community for the 2009 Stepping Up Walkathon, occurring
on September 13, 2009. The 3.2 mile walkathon helps raise
funds to provide scholarships to frail elders in the community
in need of the services of the Sinai Adult Day Health Center
but without the financial means to attend. For more information,

pledge online, noting you’d like your donation to
go to the 2009 Stepping Up Walkathon.
